Designed to convincingly simulate the way a human would behave as a conversational partner, chatbot systems typically require continuous tuning and testing, and many in production remain unable to adequately converse or pass the industry standard Turing test. The term &#8220;ChatterBot&#8221; was originally coined by Michael Mauldin (creator of the first Verbot) in 1994 to describe these conversational programs.<\/p>\n<p>Chatbots are used in dialog systems for various purposes including customer service, request routing, or information gathering. While some chatbot applications use extensive word- classification processes, natural language processors, and sophisticated AI, others simply scan for general keywords and generate responses using common phrases obtained from an associated library or database.<\/p>\n<p>Most chatbots are accessed on-line via website popups or through virtual assistants. There are two primary ways <strong>chatbots <\/strong>are offered to visitors: via web- based <strong>applications <\/strong>or standalone apps.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_Do_Chatbots_Work\"><\/span><u>H<\/u><u>o<\/u><u>w<\/u> <u>D<\/u><u>o<\/u> <u>C<\/u><u>h<\/u><u>a<\/u><u>t<\/u><u>b<\/u><u>o<\/u><u>t<\/u><u>s<\/u> <u>W<\/u><u>o<\/u><u>r<\/u><u>k<\/u><u>?\u00a0<\/u><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>At the heart of chatbot technology lies natural language processing or NLP, the same technology that forms the basis of the voice recognition systems used by virtual assistants such as Google Now, Apple\u2019s Siri, and Microsoft\u2019s Cortana.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-33\" src=\"http:\/\/suntechapps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/chatbot-300x164.jpg\" alt=\"Table\" width=\"423\" height=\"231\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.suntechapps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/chatbot-300x164.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.suntechapps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/chatbot-768x420.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.suntechapps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/chatbot.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 423px) 100vw, 423px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Chatbots process the text presented to them by the user (a process known as \u201cparsing\u201d), before responding according to a complex series of algorithms that interprets and identifies what the user said, infers what they mean and\/or want, and determine a series of appropriate responses based on this information.<\/p>\n<p>Some chatbots offer a remarkably authentic conversational experience, in which it\u2019s very difficult to determine whether the agent is a bot or a human\u00a0being. Others are much easier to spot (much like the T-600 series of murderous robots in the popular <em>Terminator <\/em>sci-fi action movies):<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"CHATBOT_IN_INDIA_%E2%80%94\"><\/span><strong><u>CHATBOT IN INDIA <\/u><\/strong><u>\u2014<\/u><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Chatbots are preferred by most of the businesses in India and are developed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suntechapps.com\/services\/saas-development\">Software Application company<\/a>. One of the greatest advantage of chatbot\u2019s over apps is that, they don\u2019t have a download option, which is preferred by 90% of the users. Though, it has a list of advantages, one must thing to consider is \u201cchatbots act like human to converse with humans\u201d. No wonder that, people have negative opinion on chatbots as they don\u2019t meet up to user\u2019s satisfaction.
